Proficlear Premium Compact-M Gravity-Fed OC
The Oase Proficlear Premium Compact-M Gravity-Fed OC drum filter is a drum filter and moving bed combined. It is ideal for natural or swim ponds up 88mยณ, goldfish ponds to 44mยณ, and koi ponds up 22mยณ.
The highly efficient drum removes particles larger than 80 ยตm (smaller than the diameter of a human hair). The drum system is completely self-cleaning and may be programmed and operated manually via the electronic control unit, or remotely the Oase Control App by combining with one of Oase’s garden controllers (supplied seperately).
The sieved water then enters the biological filter chamber containing a moving bed system. A pre-installed aeration system churns the media providing oxygen and even distribution of pond water to bacteria housed upon the Oase Hel-X 13 Biomedia (40l included). The bacteria play a critical role, breaking down toxic dissolved organic waster that is otherwise harmful to fish. The aeration system is fed by an Oase AquaOxy 2500 aerator (supplied separately).
Oase Proficlear Premium Compact-M Gravity-Fed OC drum filter should be connected to a ProfiClear Premium Compact-M Gravity-Fed Pump Chamber.ย The pump chamber houses 2x Bitron Premium 60W UV clarifiers which are directly connected to 2x Aquamax Eco Gravity 10000 pumps (all supplied seperately).
The Proficlear Premium Compact-M Gravity-Fed Drum Filter should be fed water from the pond to the inlets via 110mm solvent weld pipe. These connect to the pond via 110mm Bottom Drains and/or Aquaskim Gravity pond skimmers. It is recommended that 1-2 inlets are used for bottom drains, and any remaining inlets used skimmers. Optionally, all inlets may be used for bottom drains, and one or more stand alone surface skimmers may be used e.g. the Swimskim 50 (which has a built in pump).
