The Oase BioTec ScreenMatic 40000 pond filter combines foam biological media and an automated belt screen to remove solid waste.

As water passes through the belt screen, solid debris is harvested upon it. When enough waste has been collected, a sensor triggers the screen to rotate. This presents a clean screen section for continued filtration, and the collected solid waste is deposited into a basket. The basket is easy to remove for emptying as required. The sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted according to the amount of solid waste in your pond. The belt has an LED function check with a button to trigger manual belt rotation for cleaning.

The removal of solid waste by the belt means less build-up of waste on the biological foam media below. This allows better circulation of dissolved organic waste and oxygen to filter bacteria, thus maximizing waste processing.
