The Oase BioTec ScreenMatic Set 90000 OC includes the Biotec ScreenMatic 90000, the next generation, energy-saving AquaMax Eco Premium 21000 filter pump, Bitron C 110W UV clarifier, and 100ml of Oase Biokick for rapid maturation of your filter media.
The Oase Biotec ScreenMatic Set 90000 OC (Oase Control) is suited to natural ponds up to 90mยณ, goldfish ponds up to 45mยณ, and koi ponds up to 22.5mยณ.
Oase’s innovative BioTec ScreenMatic design combines an automated, self-cleaning, belt-driven screen to remove solid waste, and foam media to process dissolved organic waste.
As water passes through the belt screen, solid debris is harvested upon it. When enough waste has been collected, a sensor triggers the screen to rotate. This presents a clean screen section for continued filtration, and the collected solid waste is deposited into a basket. The basket is easy to remove for emptying as required. The sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted according to the amount of solid waste in your pond. The belt has an LED function check with a button to trigger manual belt rotation for cleaning.
The removal of solid waste by the belt means less build-up of waste on the biological foam media below. This allows better circulation of dissolved organic waste and oxygen to filter bacteria, thus maximizing waste processing.
The new generation of Oase Aqamax Eco Premium filter pumps have significantly reduced running costs. This is all important for providing pond water to filters 365 days of the year. Their flow rate is also controllable via the Oase Control App when paired with one of Oase’s garden controllers.ย Reducing the flow rate through your BioTec ScreenMatic is an option in winter, when there is less organic waste to process, which will save electricity.
