ProfiClear Premium DF-L Gravity-Fed OC
The Oase ProfiClear Premium DF-L Gravity-Fed OC drum filter is ideal for natural or swim ponds to 200mยณ, goldfish ponds to 100mยณ, and koi ponds to 45mยณ.
The highly efficient drum removes particles larger than 60 ยตm (smaller than the diameter of a human hair). The drum system is completely self-cleaning and may be programmed and operated manually via the electronic control unit, or remotely the Oase Control App by combining with one of Oase’s garden controllers (supplied seperately).
The Oase ProfiClear Premium DF-L Gravity-Fed OC drum filter is a powerful mechanical filter that removes even very fine coarse particles. However, biological filtration is also essential to break down dissolved ammonia and nitrite into less harmful nitrate. This is achieved with the connection of up to three ProfiClear Premium Moving Bed Modules.
The final module for connection is a ProfiClear Premium Gravity-Fed Pump Chamber, that houses the gravity filter pumps and UV Clarifiers. We recommend drawing water to the system using 2x Aquamax Eco Gravity pumps, and connection to 2x Bitron Premium 60W UV clarifiers for clear water.
Oase gravity-fed drum filters should be fed water from the pond to the inlets via a 110mm solvent weld pipe. These connect to the pond via 110mm Bottom Drains and Aquaskim Gravity Pond Skimmers.
