ProfiClear Premium DF-XL Gravity-Fed OC
The Oase ProfiClear Premium DF-XL Gravity-Fed OC drum filter is suited to very large natural or swim ponds up to 530mยณ and koi ponds up to 100mยณ.
The highly efficient drum removes particles larger than 60 ยตm (smaller than the diameter of a human hair). The drum system is completely self-cleaning and may be programmed and operated manually via the electronic control unit, or remotely the Oase Control App by combining with one of Oase’s garden controllers (supplied seperately).
ProfiClear Premium DF-XL Gravity-Fed OC drum filter is a powerful mechanical filter that removes even very fine coarse particles. However, biological filtration is also essential to break down dissolved ammonia and nitrite to less harmful nitrate. This is achieved with the connection of up to three ProfiClear Premium XL Moving Bed Modules.
The final module in the system should be a ProfiClear Premium XL Gravity-Fed Pump Chamber, that houses the gravity filter pumps and UV Clarifiers. We recommend 2x AquaMax Eco Expert or AquaMax Eco Titanium pumps and 2x Bitron Premium 180W UV clarifiers (all supplied separately).
Oase gravity-fed drum filters should be fed water from the pond to the inlets via a 110mm solvent weld pipe. These connect to the pond via DN100 Bottom Drains and Aquaskim Gravity Pond Skimmers.
