The Oase BioSmart Set 18000 includes a BioSmart 18000 pond filter, Vitronic 18W UV clarifier, AquaMax Eco Classic 5500 pond pump, 5m of hose, and 100ml of BioKick Filter Starter.

The BioSmart Set 18000 is suitable for natural ponds up to 18m³ and goldfish ponds up to 9m³.

Oase’s BioSmart through-flow filters employ high-surface area foam as biological media. Bacteria colonise the foam and play an important role, breaking down toxic waste and rendering it harmless. These filters are also effective mechanical filters, able to harvest sediment and debris.

A pollution indicator let’s you know when the filter needs cleaning. This is done by lifting the handles to compress the foam, thus squeezing out collected waste. The bottom drain can then be opened to discharge the waste, and hose pipe can be connected to flush the unit out.

The Vitronic UV clarifier kills unicellular algae that cause green water.
