The Oase ProfiClear Premium DF-XL Pump-Fed OC drum filter is suited to very large natural or swim ponds up to 530m³ and koi ponds up to 100m³.

The highly efficient drum removes particles larger than 60 µm (smaller than the diameter of a human hair). The drum system is completely self-cleaning and may be programmed and operated manually via the electronic control unit, or remotely the Oase Control App by combining with one of Oase’s garden controllers (supplied seperately).

This pump-fed drum is a powerful mechanical filter that removes even very fine coarse particles. However, biological filtration is also essential to break down dissolved ammonia and nitrite to less harmful nitrate. This is achieved with the connection of up to three ProfiClear Premium XL Moving Bed Modules.

We recommend the drum is supplied with pond water from Aquamax Eco Premium filter pumps via 50mm suction hose or solvent weld pipe. The 50mm feeds should terminate with Bitron Premium UV clarifiers, that sterilise the pond water before entry into the drum.
